Perhaps, the higher-intelligence beings call a human, macroorganism, - "macrobe".

Can you imagine the amount of unwarranted aggression faced by the ancient person who was the first in civilization to smile? At a time when even his own tribesmen saw it as a terrifying snarl and a sign of aggression, a chilling predatory grin, a direct threat, not to mention his enemies.
