The night of scared land cleared of storm clouds
And opened the pass to brilliant stars.
The valley in despair reveals itself:
Two moons in different color shine many ruined silhouettes
Like alien spikes pierced the mirror of the flooded land.
Built of monoliths of black the slender bodies, columnar plants
Swayed in the wind with withered heads like burnt matches.
The peaks ahead lit up with deadly light.
Mackenzie's last doubts about unenviable fate
Were utterly collapsed.
