Павел Суровой Song of Solomon 7 english

 How lovely are your sandaled feet,
O daughter of a noble grace,
Your hips are curves of art complete,
Wrought by a master's hands in place.

Your navel is a rounded bowl
That never lacks for spiced design;
Your waist, a wheat-heap, clear and whole,
With lilies hedged in soft confine.

Your breasts are twin fawns in the lea,
Like twin gazelles that softly play;
Your neck, an ivory tower to see,
Your eyes, Heshbon's bright pools today.

Your nose is like Lebanon's tower,
That toward Damascus turns its view;
Your head like Carmel's crest and power,
Your hair, rich royal purple hue.

How fair and sweet you are, O love,
Where every joy is found and known!
Your stature like the palm above,
Your breasts like clusters on its throne.

I said, "I'll climb the towering palm
And take its fruit with eager hands";
Your breath is like an apple's balm,
Your mouth the finest wine that stands.

It flows to greet my love so sweet,
And gently moves where sleepers rest;
I am his own, for him complete,
With all his deep desire blessed.

Come, my beloved, let us go
To fields where we can freely roam;
At dawn to vineyards let us show
If buds have bloomed to welcome home.

There will I give my love to you,
Where mandrakes send their fragrance near;
And at our gates are fruits anew,
Both new and old, kept for you, dear!
